Eastlight’s Head of Development Appointed to HouseProud Board
We are delighted to announce that Andrew Allocca, our Head of Development, has been appointed to the Board of HouseProud, a leading network for LGBTQ+ professionals in the social housing sector.
This appointment highlights Andrew’s dedication to promoting inclusivity and supporting LGBTQ+ individuals within our organisation and the wider housing industry.
Andrew joins a group of esteemed professionals on the HouseProud Board. His extensive experience and passion for advocacy will be a valuable addition, helping to drive HouseProud's mission of creating a more inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ professionals and housing residents.
Founded by Andrew in 2023, Eastlight’s LGBTQ+ networking group, EastPride, brings together colleagues and allies to lead our Pride events and initiatives throughout the year. The group plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of community within Eastlight and ensuring that our LGBTQ+ employees have a voice in shaping our culture.
This year, EastPride led our sponsorship of Essex Pride and Braintree Pride, demonstrating our dedication to supporting the LGBTQ+ community both within and beyond our organisation.
