Priti Patel MP meets our Chief Executive for catch-up session
Witham’s MP, Priti Patel, called into Eastlight House in Braintree for a catch-up with our Chief Executive, Emma Palmer, on 4 November.
Emma gave Priti an update on our latest work in Witham; focussing on our trailblazing All In community programme. This involves groups of local residents working on key issues affecting the community and coming up with solutions together. They also discussed Eastlight’s work to decarbonise our homes and our overall sustainability strategy.
Following her visit, Priti said: “It was great to catch-up with Emma and hear all about the excellent work they are doing in bringing communities together and tackling the issues that really do affect local people. I recently met with the Witham All In entrepreneurs who are tackling social isolation and was impressed with their innovative thinking and determination to make a difference. They have my full support.”
Emma Palmer said: “It is always a pleasure to see Priti and we enjoyed bringing her up to date on our latest news and everything we are doing in Witham and the East of England. Priti’s support and her continued interest in our work are greatly appreciated. Good communications with key local stakeholders is essential for us.”
