Eastlight residents receive critical support through our new helpline
Earlier this month, we launched a brand-new Tenant Support & Well-being Service (TSWS) in response to the challenges most households are now facing as a result of the cost-of-living crisis.
From mental health & domestic abuse to alcohol & drug issues, the TSWS provides a safe and confidential space for people to seek advice from professionals about anything they might be struggling with.
The service is completely free and available 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Anyone that needs a listening ear and would like to speak to someone can call the Tenant Support and Well-being Service on 0330 094 8845.
For those that don’t feel comfortable speaking over the phone, support is also available via our TSWS online portal here: www.tsws-assist.co.uk
In addition to the helpline, we have also funded an app to help improve people’s mental health in an interactive way. The ‘MyMindPal’ app intends to reduce stress levels, handle new pressures & challenges and make positive changes to lives.
All login details for both the Support Service and MyMindPal app can be found on our Cost-of-Living Support section via our website – click here to receive this information.
Katie Behan, Housing Manager for Safeguarding & Sustainment, said:
“We’ve really thought long and hard about how we can provide more opportunities for people to gain access to support, with such a variety of issues hitting households at the moment.
“We really hope that anyone who uses our Tenant Support helpline and mental health app finds some comfort and relief during a very difficult and uncertain time.
“We still continue to urge our residents who might be struggling to pay their bills or heat their home to contact us, and we will see how we can help you.”
If you’re worried about paying your rent, heating your home or buying enough food, then we do have help available. Please contact us directly by emailing customer.services@eastlighthomes.co.uk or calling 0330 128 0330.
We’re here to help.
