Eastlight shareholders invited to first Annual General Meeting

Eastlight Community Homes shareholders are being invited to the organisation's first Annual General Meeting.

More than 5,000 invites have been sent out to attend the virtual event, which takes place on Wednesday, 23 September at 5.30pm.

As a Community Gateway Association, Eastlight residents are entitled to apply to become shareholders and vote at Annual General Meetings.

Last month, we wrote to those who were residents of Colne Housing before the organisation merged with Greenfields Community Homes to become Eastlight on 1 July, in order to invite them to become shareholders.

With the coronavirus pandemic preventing shareholders being able to attend in person, an online event will be held via Zoom. Extra support has been made available for anyone requiring support to take part.

Customer shareholders will be invited to vote on a number of resolutions, either at the event or in advance if they are unable to attend.
