Foundry Court
Foundry Court is a community centre for everyone, bringing people together for a range of entertainment, therapeutic and health services, as well as learning, events and community activities.
Located in Manningtree, within North Essex and close to the Suffolk border and Colchester, the community centre is owned and managed by Eastlight and is used by people who live, work and study in the local community.

Spaces for Hire
The community centre is a unique, multi-purpose space available for hire, with rooms suitable for a variety of classes – such as crafts, dancing, exercise and support groups.
The whole centre can also be hired for larger exclusive events, including training days and conferences.
With every room hire, the use of a kitchenette is free for use, fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and a kettle and refrigerator.

Accessibility
Limited parking is available at the front of the centre, however a large free-to-use public car park is just a five-minute walk away. Manningtree train station is just a 15-minute walk.
The whole centre is on one level and fully accessible. It also has a wheelchair-accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.

What's On?
Foundry First Steps
New-borns and children aged up to three-years-old are welcome. £5 per family, every Friday morning during school term time. Includes refreshments, play, craft activities and singing.
Friends over 55
For just £6 per year, over 55s can enjoy live music and dancing (first Tuesday of the month); Craft & Chat every second Tuesday of the month; and Bingo every third Tuesday, with cash prizes.
NHS Covid Vaccination clinic
Dates for this Autumn booster programme is as follows: 10am until 2pm on Wednesday, 16 October; Thursday, 7 November; Wednesday, 4 December; and Thursday, 19 December.

Manningtree & District Foodbank and One Support
This occurs every Tuesday in the Community Suite from 10am until 12pm noon.

The Ballroom is the largest space and can be further expanded by also using the Huddle Café area and the Wellbeing Suite. This large space is suitable for exercise and dance classes, conferences, large family events, music afternoons with space for dancing, and sit-down meals.
The Wellbeing Suite is a great space for pamper days, training days and other events, with its own toilets, courtyard and kitchenette area.
When booking the Wellbeing Suite, the Courtyard can be booked in tandem and used for summer/good weather events, such as tea parties, wedding breakfasts and family celebrations.

Availability & Costs
Availability: Weekdays and weekends, days and evenings (from 8.30am to 10pm).
Hire Costs: £10 to £35 per hour, depending on selected room, facilities and type of hire. Discounts are available for registered charities and regular bookings.
